Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will feature deeper Gemini AI integration

Looks like AI will steal the show at Samsung’s next Unpacked event. A new leak from PandaFlash X suggests the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will lean heavily into Google’s Gemini AI. They specifically point out “Gemini Live” as a core feature this year.

According to tipster PandaFlash, Samsung plans to highlight Gemini AI integration as a key upgrade for both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. That’s not a huge surprise. AI has been front and center in Samsung’s recent launches, and this looks like the next step—real-time Gemini features baked directly into One UI.

The Fold 7 also features a new 200MP main camera, a “Next Gen Pro-Visual Engine,” and support for log video recording. Samsung seems to want to give content creators more tools, even if it keeps camera talk to a minimum during the keynote.

On the hardware side, Samsung is pushing the design narrative again. The Fold 7 is said to be thinner and tougher, thanks to a new “All-New UTG” (Ultra-Thin Glass) and improved hinge engineering. Durability was a pain point in early foldables, so this could be a big talking point.

The Flip 7 will reportedly see “improved photo quality,” a better cover display, and some new case designs.

Other features to watch out for? “Pro-Scaler,” “Galaxy AI Generative Edits,” and updates to “Now-Brief” and “Samsung XR.” No date yet for Unpacked, but if Samsung sticks to tradition, expect it to land sometime in July.
